At Rula, we’re committed to delivering high-quality care—and that starts with supporting providers in meeting clear clinical standards. Outlined below are the key metrics the quality team regularly monitors to ensure high quality care.
Quality Indicators:
Our Clinical Quality team monitors performance indicators across the network so we can help ensure the care you provide is safe, effective, and aligned with best practices. These benchmarks are designed to help you understand your own clinical performance and identify where growth or support may be needed.
Quality indicator | Definition | Industry Benchmark |
Timely & signed documentation | % of expected documentation completed within 48 hours | >90% |
Use of measurement-informed care in treatment | Measure of provider utilization of MIC data in clinical sessions as reported in the progress note | >80% |
Patient Retention | % of patients who complete a 2nd visit | >80% |
Client success | % of patients that demonstrate improvement as evident on outcome measures | >80% |
Therapeutic alliance | The feeling of alliance between the provider and client, as reported by the client on the outcome measures sent prior to session. | >90% |
Documentation Quality:
Rula’s Clinical Quality team conducts routine documentation reviews to ensure notes are complete, accurate, and compliant with payer and clinical standards. When issues are identified, providers will receive feedback and guidance to help realign with best practices. Our goal is to support clinical excellence and protect both patients and providers. You can see Rula's best practice guidelines for clinical documentation here.
Medication Safety:
We review prescribing trends—especially for high-risk or controlled medications—to ensure patient safety and adherence to current standards of care. If concerns arise, providers may be contacted for clarification and supported in reviewing safe prescribing guidelines.
