How to cancel an individual appointment
To cancel an appointment:
- Log into the EHR
- Click Home and then Scheduler
- Select the Week View icon (little calendar with a horizontal line through it) to get a full view of your calendar
- Click on the appointment you want to cancel
- Select Cancel. Do not select Delete.
- Choose the appropriate cancel reason from the options displayed
- The appointment will disappear from your calendar
How to undo canceling an appointment
If you ever make a mistake when canceling, you can always un-cancel appointments. To do so:
- Log into the EHR
- Navigate to your Scheduler
- Click on the list icon at the top left of your Scheduler (3 dots)
- Filter for the day of the appointment that you want to un-cancel
- Locate the appointment and un-check the box in the cancel column
- Confirm that you would like to undo the action by clicking ok on the pop-up message
- Return to your calendar view, and you should now see the appointment back on the calendar
