In this article, we will cover how to upload documents to a client's chart in the Rula provider portal. We will also cover how to share documents with your patients.
Uploading Documents
- Log in to the Rula provider portal
- Navigate to the Clients tab
- Select the patient you'd like to upload a document for
- Click Notes & Documents
- Click Upload document on the right side of the client chart
- A pop-up will appear, allowing you to drag a document over directly from your desktop, or you can click into the green box to upload from your computer.
- Once you have selected the document, click Save
- You should see a banner appear letting you know the document was uploaded successfully
Sending Documents to Patients
Using the Rula provider portal, providers no longer need to send patient education information and handouts, as they will be sent to patients automatically. However, if you ever need to send documents to a patient, we advise you to do so through a HIPAA-compliant email. You can also send any documents you'd like to share to the Rula Support Team, and we are happy to send them to your patient.
