Improvements are coming to the Rula provider portal, which should make managing your caseload easier, allowing you to reach your practice goals! Many of you shared that some of our practice tools didn’t always match how you think about your caseload or manage your boundaries. These updates are designed to give you clearer control, reduce confusion, and better support the way you run your practice.
In this article, we will provide a walkthrough of the new Homepage, highlighting the changes that we've made to make managing your practice easier.
What Is Changing?
Through provider feedback, we've centered control around your availability and the Accepting New Clients toggle.
All of this has been compiled into the brand new Homepage. This is your new landing page when you log into the Rula provider portal.
Through this homepage, you will also have easy access to the following:
- Your To-Do tasks
- A snapshot of the current week in numbers
- The appointments you have today. This includes easy access to starting your appointment, sending your client their measure to complete, and viewing client measures.
- Snapshots of the next three weeks
Maximizing Your Settings
You’ll now see a clean, intuitive “week at a glance,” so you no longer have to do the mental math to keep track of your practice capacity. It also includes an “Accepting New Clients” toggle, making it easy to let us know when you’re open to new referrals. Note: if toggled off, Rula will stop sending you new referrals.
Remember, your availability is one of the strongest drivers of whether clients can find and book with you. Even providers with excellent profiles will not appear in search results if they lack availability when clients are looking.

No More Practice Tab
You may have noticed that with the addition of the Homepage, the Practice tab has been deprecated. This is intentional! The Homepage will serve as your control center for practice settings, providing easy access to the features we've mentioned above.
So, where are your "Practice Details" settings, such as your location settings and your client preferences? You will now find these in the Profile tab. Here you can update everything from your specialities, requesting updates to your Bio, your client preferences, and more.
Conclusion
The Homepage was built to work for you and give you more control over your practice in a more effective way. It allows you to quickly glance at your week and adjust your settings as needed, creating a dynamic space with you in the driver's seat.
